QFA Chairman dismisses controversy in relation with Anas

Following the Qatar Stars League launch ceremony; Qatar Football Association chairman Shiekh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Thani held a press conference to answer some of the questions lingering on the surface of the Qatar football scene.

his highness shed light on the controversy surrounding Al Gharafa's Anas Mubarak situation as a neutralized player,Shiekh Khalifa was quoted "last year's manifestation was aimed at helping Qatar players to partake in their teams more efficiently, Anas has obtained the Qatari nationality a long time ago, so he is to contenue under the same states, its no secret that we are trying to make him a member of our national squad".
